EPS
Polystyrene, scientifically known as Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), is a highly versatile plastic material used in a wide range of applications. It comes in a variety of shapes and sizes and can be combined with many other materials. EPS is often used to replace aggregates in lightweight concrete, reducing the total weight by up to 75% compared to regular concrete—an ideal solution for multi-story buildings or homes where weight minimization is essential. In addition, EPS offers excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, is highly fire-resistant, and has a long lifespan.
XPS
XPS (Extruded Polystyrene) is a rigid foam insulation panel made from the polymer polystyrene, widely used in construction due to its excellent thermal performance, moisture resistance and durability. It is particularly effective in applications such as terrace insulation—both flat and sloped—where it helps maintain a consistent temperature indoors. XPS is also frequently used in wall insulation systems, improving energy efficiency in both interior and exterior walls. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, XPS provides long-lasting insulation and structural support, making it a reliable choice for demanding building environments.
UFH Panels
UFH panels (Underfloor Heating Panels) are efficient solutions for modern installations and renovations, designed to ensure stable placement and optimal insulation for heating pipes (Ø 14–18 mm). Models such as EF-SOLO offer a 1 mm rigid polystyrene panel, ideal for rooms with limited height, being easily mounted on existing insulation. While EF-30 DUO and EF-50 DUO are panels with high load-bearing resistance (up to 3000 kg/m²), suitable for low-height floors and installation under cement mortar or floating screed. The “knob into knob” technology ensures tight and water-tight connections. With joint spacings of 30 mm, 40 mm or 50 mm, these panels adapt to any project need. This makes UFH a reliable and functional choice for efficient underfloor heating systems.
